'Just Do It'- for 101 days straight, what do ya think?!

So my sis told me about this couple and their book, and just for fun I thought Id put this one out there to see what ppl think about it.

For those that dont feel like reading it this couple decided to have sex every day for 101 days to enhance their marriage/intimacy. They made it and wrote a book about the experience and how it brought them closer.

..........What do you think?

Great or silly idea?
Would/wouldnt do it? Think you could/couldn't do it? Why?
See benefit/reason for it or think don't need to have sex every day to have intimacy?
etc.

Can you imagine EVERY SINGLE DAY...like if you feel gross, really sick, just had a fight, have your period, have kids to focus on or if youre sleeping over at a family members house!? And what the heck are you supposed to do if you or DH travels for your job- phone sex?

Clearly Im bored!

honestly, i get why they came up with the idea but i think forcing it every single day totally takes the passion out of it..right?? i mean - not to get personal , but dh & i have sex A LOT. but the 'oh wait...we can't forget..c'mon we gotta go do it' thing just takes the turn-on aspect out of it...not to be gross - but i dont think i'd be able to get..well...'moist' (lol) everytime if our sex life was a task..i dunno..seems so 'routine' and '((siigh)) c'mon let's go' to me..

and who knows...they could've skipped a day or so and noone will ever know but them

just realized...101days is really only a little over 3months....i guess for the couple thats been married for years & has a dried up sex life it's an idea that makes 'doing the deed' a little more exciting... i give them credit....BUT they should've gone for something a little more impressive lol...'every day for a year' would've done it for me....it's only 264 more days

TOTALLY read my mind on everything about this!!

id think it would take ALL the spontaneity out of it. but hey maybe DH and I will try just for shitz and gigs not for their reasoning.

i guess what they said is that it was just like rededicating themselves to spending that quiet alone time focusing on eachother. it was about more than the sex. youd think youd have to get a little creative to make sure it wasn't like the same routine thing every day tho.

as for the dryness issue, lol, i think youd need some lube to make it through the 101 days and i hate that stuff!!!

This is crazy! I don't think I could physically do it. There are some nights when DH wants it and there is nothing that will make me give in because I'm just not up to it!!!!!! I like to skip a few days here and there to keep it exciting and 'new'.

This is wonderful for them because they say that rekindled their relationship and intamacy, but definitley not for me!!!!!

I dont even see DH for 101 consecutive days. If either of us work any overtime we miss eachother don't get to see eachother for a day or two

I think the concept of it is good but like mentioned above, it just becomes another 'task' that needs to be done in your day, which in turn just takes away the passion and excitement of it.
