Just got back from the doc..

They took an xray and sent me on my way with vicodin and a muscle relaxer (i think flexarol). In about 30 min I wont even know my own name.. and i cant wait. In so much pain!!! I have a herniated disc in my neck so I have to probably do physical therapy soon but i told him I would come back after the new year to figure all that out.

the doc was laughing at me, after i told him that wrestling with my 20 pound dog did this to me.

Watch out with that stuff. I was on it once and the room was spinning. I found I would rather be in pain and on motrin then feeling like that.

Glad you at least know what's going on now! And hopefully the meds will give you some relief! for a speedy recovery!

Yeah I know what you mean about the room spinning. I am totally going to stick with motrin during the day but taking these meds he gave me at night so I can sleep. I am actually nervous to take all of this stuff and DH is working so my sister is coming over to babysit me. haha.

Thats good, don't be alone on that stuff. I lived in DC in a studio apt when I was on it. So thats another reason why I suffered through pain. (Third degree burns down my entire leg.)

hope you feel better. . and def be careful of that flexeral - it's super strong. I took that after a car accident once and while it made all the pain go away - it made a lot of other things go away too!!!

DH has issues with herniated disks. In his spine and neck. he even had surgery on one of them. He was in REALLLY bad shape with this issue.

Def go for the therapy. Hope you get well soon. and haha... the meds will kick in soon.. but remember to be careful even when your not in much pain due to the lovely meds!!
