I still havent received any gifts yet will get my moms tom and from dh and his fmaily new years day....but i was wondering did you girls get what you wished for.....WHat did you guys get
Unfortunately, I did not get what I wanted from DH...I really wanted another pair of Uggs, but he didn't get them for me...He did however write me a beautiful letter to celebrate our first xmas together, so he did good!
I got Uggs, a winter coat, and of course my main gift was my puppy... but there were some exciting surprises. DH got me a small flat screen for the kitchen so I can watch TV while I cook, which is something I am used to doing from my parents. I am so excited. MIL got us a pet carpet cleaner. And at my mom's was a gift from my mom and my grandma (deceased), I was so confused when I saw the tag until I saw it was my grandmother's old souffle dish. My mom and I had been searching for one like my mom's for the corn souffle we make since I first moved out on my own. My mom found my grandmothers old one and wrapped it up. It meant so much to me to have it.
We had quite the week for sure. It was a definite whirlwind for our first Xmas together as a married couple. In any case the Dh got me new Uggs a new wool coat a new laptop & a gift cert. to get any new bag i want, YAY!!! lol He is the best man ever! Even though this Xmas wasnt a very happy occasion we know that God has a better plan for us. (we lost the baby at 9.5 weeks but never knew until our 12 week sonogram). All in all we are strong & doing well & thankfully we have the best families & friends to support us. XOXOXOXO So i guess for this Xmas its all about being thankful for our blessings.

DH got me a braclet with hearts and diamonds on it. I received a tiffany heart neckace from my god mother for a wedding present and I wear it every day so DH wanted to find something to match with it. I love it. We decided not to spend a lot on each other for Xmas this year. He put a lot of thought into my gift and it means so much to me. He is so thoughtful and sweet with the gifts he gives!!!!!!
