Karaoke/videoke machine

does anyone here have one at home? My FIL's birthday is coming up and he loves karaoke so we're thinking of getting one for him but no idea which or how to do this...I know the playstation 3 has a very cool American Idol game that is great, but I don't think he'll like since its a video game....
Any recommendations?
TIA

i think they actually sell karaoke machines at walmart ..but it depends how high-tech u wanna go!
