Land's End Prices...summer afternoon
CAn anyone help me out with prices for a summer Sat. afternoon at Land's End. Your pictures are winning me over from there and your comments. WOW!Yet I think their prices may be a bit steep.
Also, what was your minimum? Thanks so much!

I don't know about summer afternoons, but my sister is paying about $140 for a Friday night in August.Land's End (and all Lovin Ovens locations) is worth EVERY penny.

Re: Land's End Prices...summer afternoon
my knowledge of the prices is somewhat outdated, since we booked over two years ago. But at the time, they were asking for $140 for a Sat night. We ended up paying $120 for a Saturday night in late April 2002 (with a 185 minimum).Jenn's right - it was worth every penny. They were fabulous.

Re: Land's End Prices...summer afternoon
I learned one thing from looking for reception sites. Call the place, tell them honestly what your budget limitations are, and tell them what dates you're willing to consider. They may opt to work with you depending on how busy they are that season, if they think they may end up empty if they don't book you, etc. We got the Harrison House at well below the price they originally told us and WELL below the minimum they usually require b/c we simply told them what we needed and were a little flexible with times/dates (I was just married last weekend!).Call, tell, and you may find that these places will work with you.
