Re: Looking back at your wedding day.....
- not giving the photographer a 'must take' list - skipping the STD's (totally unnecessary for us) - not hiring a DOC (didn't need it)

1. Picked a different DJ 2. Wouldn't have had a DOC (totally unnecessary) 3. Complained about the alterations on my dress (tooooo much clevage)

Re: Looking back at your wedding day.....
- Booked 2 limos instead of having one come back for me after dropping off the guys!! I was 30 min late. (P.S The limo company assured me that we would have time. The limo driver f***ed around too long.
- Not had as many BM's. I only had 7 originally went down to 6 and even those 6 were completely unnecessary. 2 would have been fine!
- Picked a different chicken dish. I did not like the one we choose.

Re: Looking back at your wedding day.....
1) I think my hair colorist could have done a better job with my hair color that day, I wasn't happy with it at all and should have went to someone else who is better. Now, looking back on my pictures I look at my hair color in disgust.
2) I wish I would have given my photographer a better 'must take list'
3) Picked a different BM dress for my girls, I wasn't too happy with the one I picked.

Re: Looking back at your wedding day.....
1. Would have worn more comfortable shoes 2. Would have changed DJ's 3. Would have added strolling violins at the church and at the cocktail hour
I don't have any regrets on anything, even though my DJ screwed up a couple of times.
The shoes - make sure they are comfortable. I should have brought flats/sneakers, something else to change into. That was my biggest mistake.
On our wedding night, I had to soak my feet for like an hour, because I was in so much pain!

Re: Looking back at your wedding day.....
1. Canceled my hair vendor when I wasn't feeling so right in my gut about it so I wouldn't have had to deal with her being a no show on my wedding day!
2. done more research before hiring my photographer
3. hired a DOC

Re: Looking back at your wedding day.....
Definitely would of give my photographer a more specific must-take photo list.
Different hair stylist....my wedding day hair was completely different than my trial.

Re: Looking back at your wedding day.....
-Given photog a must take list; made arrangements for family portraits.
-Researched hair and make-up instead of leaving it to the month before.
-Done all the 'little things' in advance, instead of right before the wedding. Shopping the week of (or day before) is not cool!
-Have been more organized when it came to my dress so my mom wouldn't be sewing it hours before my wedding.
-Arranged for the BM's to buy their dresses instead of having mom make them.
*But, in the grand scheme of things, these things don't really matter because my day was perfect and the best day of my and my husband's life thus far, so I guess this had to happen or it wouldn't be the same.*

Re: Looking back at your wedding day.....
1. One less bridesmaid
2. ordered my dress 1 size bigger (I had way too much boobage going on)
3. wedding album. We skimped on that, but now that's it's 2 years later, I wish I had one.

Re: Looking back at your wedding day.....
1. I would have insisted my Grandma come to my house prior to the ceremony for pictures. Because of traffic, she literally walked in as we were walking out as a married couple. She's the only grandparent still alive btwn the 2 of us, so it kind of took away that she didn't have the opportunity to walk down the aisle and see us (in person, not on video) get married.
2. Investigated flowers more. I LOVE LOVE LOVE flowers, and while my bouquet was more beautiful than I could have imagined, I wasn't (and still am not LOVING) the rest of them, esp my BM bouquets. I went with the 'best deal' and at the very least, have doubts (not necessarily 'regrets').
3. Gotten hair highlights done before my wedding. I get highlights done now, and like them so much better--I had NEVER done anything beforehand (my mom used to even cut my hair), so I was nervous to experiment before the wedding. In retrospect, I think my hairstyle would have looked 100 times better than it did if I had the highlights done. Oh well.

Re: Looking back at your wedding day.....
one less bridesmaid
paid more attention to my flowers
different photographer/videographer - we spent way, way, way too much on it and I think we could have gotten the same quality for much less
gone without a headpiece

Re: Looking back at your wedding day.....
1. I would have been more prepared for the posed photos. I would have told everyone the game plan ahead of time so that we didn't have a lot of confusion getting everyone together during the cocktail hour.
2. I would have kept my veil on for the pose photos. I was so happy the ceremony was over that I ripped it out of my head. Looking back, it looked really nice on me in the pictures and I wish I had it on in the posed ones.

Re: Looking back at your wedding day.....
1. I would have insisted on getting a video (DH put his foot down about not wanting it, and I HATE that I gave in!) 2. would have loved to have had a chocolate fountain, but I still can’t justify what it would have cost 3. made sure that the setting of my w-ring was lower, so that I wouldn’t now need to change my e-ring setting

Re: Looking back at your wedding day.....
1. Put together a photo must take list so the picture taking would have been more organized. There were some pictures that I wanted with certain people that I forgot to tell my photographer about.
2. Made sure I went over to the chocolate fountain. I was so busy talking to people that I never ever looked at it.
3. Made a point of eating. I didn't try anything from the cocktail hour and only had two bites of my dinner. Everyone said the food was awesome and I wished I had tried some of it.
In the end I had a perfect, magical day and although I would have changed these things they didn't take away from the wedding.
