DH called me this morning at 6:30 to tell me the news that Luciano Pavarotti has passed away. I am not a big opera fan, but I admired Pavarotti very much and was always moved by his strong voice. He will be missed...

very sad... he had pancreatic cancer for a year... Hope he didn't suffer TOO much
