Marriage Cetificate is HERE!

After stressing a bit wondering how long it would take to get our marriage certificate so I could get on DH's health insurance .... it came today!

Less than 2 weeks from our wedding date!

Now I can start the whole name changing process. I told DH that he should have to take care of all that paper work for me

Any good threads with info on how to go about it?

call your credit card companies
bring the original certiciate to the banks, dmv, social security office

We went to Long Beach to apply .... no lines, everyone was really nice & helpful when we were there.

And Lisante sent it in for us while we were in St. Lucia, just one more reason to like him!

I remember when I finally got mine, I was soo excited

Ours came as well just when we got back from the honeymoon (Monday) and I went to the DMV and social security yesterday to start the whole name change process!! It's pretty cool!! I have sooo many things to change!! AHHHHH !!

after we got our marriage lic, i went to SS, then DMV and called all the credit card companies, and we went to the bank.
