Hey Girls, I am a past LIW bride. I am the MOH for my GF wedding. I am compiling a list of places to have her shower. Right now, I am weighing out whether to have it at a hall or restaurant. I am looking for some places that are reasonably priced in Suffolk County. Any suggestions would be great. TIA!

mine was at the bellport country club(kinda far east) and my friends was at Katie Dalys (nassau/suffolk border) and i also like the irish coffee pub(islip)

I've been to showers at both The Riverview and The Snapper Inn in Oakdale, and they were both really nice.

what about a chinese buffet? sisnlaw had her's there, they give you a corner and set it up. village way was like $35 pp with wine (i think).

my shower was at Bella Verde in Edgewood and everyone loved it! I cannot believe how beautiful the room was and the food was phenomenal. It is right near Deer Park. GL

Irish Coffee Pub and Sonoma Grill are both good shower venues... they can offer you a private room.

My shower was at La Volpe in Center Moriches and it was phenomenal! It was around $30/head for a sit down lunch with a few courses. See pics in album!
We had my sisters shower at Restaurant Blue in blue point and it was also very very good.
Rehearsal dinner was at snapper in, very good. I liked it there but room was tight and the place is a bit dated or just boat-housy. But food and svc was good!

I had mine at ARgyle in Babylon. Also my eparty was at Shandon Court in East Islip. We loved both.
