Re: Mothers Day is almost here...

I had planned to get her a customized mouse pad-inexpensive but sentimental gift but now she is making requests

She wants a mandoline-you know a veggie/fruit slicer, but this is a woman who cuts her fingers ALL the time because she refuses to use a sharp enough knife. She ends up sawing through meat and veggies with a dull blade which is why she cuts herself. She doesnt get that sharp knives =less cuts as long as you're careful.

And now she wants a mandoline...of course once she loses a finger I will be blamed and once again take the place of the black sheep of the family, a place she as firmly placed me in since birth.

I might just get her a griddle pan. The worst she can do is take out my dad with it.

MIL, Step mom, and grandmothers get flowers delivered. Mom is getting flowers also but we're also sending pajamagrams. Mom loves pj's so this is a perfect gift for her

I saw that one but it was not reviewd well. Have you ever used it? I tried looking on amazon.com but the best ones are either REALLY expensive or dont have a great safe guard.

i think i might just buy her a skin care product since she enjoys them but rarely buys them for herself.

we are going to keep it simple since my brother and i gave her money to put towards a used car for her bday.
