my poor puppy

Yesterday DH left a bag of chocolate covered coffee beans on the counter and my cat knocked them off and Izzy helped herself to half a bag

I was picking my parents up from JFK and he was watching the ranger game at a bar so we both didn't get home till 10:30. I panicked since nothing like this has ever happened

I called poison control for dogs and they told me to take her to the emergency vet ASAP because the chocolate could cause a heart attack and the coffee beans could cause seizures...it honestly was the worst night of my life. I can't imagine how hard it is having kids because I cried all night that I had to leave her and that this happened

800 dollars later she is still there , I don't even care about the money I just want her better and home

aww little Izzy!!!!!!!!!!!! The poor puppy...I hope she is doing well now. I am with you though, I wouldn't even care about the money at this point because her health is what is important to you!!! I would do the same for Gunner

Poor thing. I am going to get her a get well present!!!

But this reminds me, last V-day Gunner ate a heart shaped box of chocloates (there were like 4 chocolates in there). He was fine though I didn't even think to make him vomit. But a year later he is still around I am a bad mommy

OMG...I give my doggies, chocolate chip mini muffins, like 2 every 4-5 months. I didn't know chocolate gave dogs heat attacks

I hope your puppy is 100% healthy

oh man. Poor baby!!! I know exactly what you mean - i freak out every time my puppy is hurt or sick. I can't even imagine how I'll be when I have children

I hope she's ok and home soon!!
