I am not a Duet bride, but a Spellman bride. I too fell that some of you Ladies had outrageous photos and mine were good but ...always a 'but' wish mine were better, but it wasn't the photographer I don't think, it is me....and after looking at them all again (about 800) last night, there are a lot of them that I love, and a lot I don't. But overall I am happy w/ mine. I just wish I was 30lbs thinner and , and, and, and,... When I went to view at them at the studio, the photograher said 'i don't want to hear that you look too fat', which she was hearing for months, but that is the way I felt. I think my bridal party looked better than me....i am not very photogenic.

I had the same experience with my Duet proofs. When I first went through them I definitely felt a little disappointed, there were shots I didn't see that I was really hoping to get. But as someone else mentioned, the more you look at them the more you realize how much you love them. I don't have nearly as many nice candids as I wanted, but there are so many amazing shots of my DH and I. I could make more than one album from the many great proofs we have. Give yourself some time to really go through them and don't focus on the shots that aren't there (there's nothing you can do about it now) and focus on the great shots you do have.

I am very picky so I was not 100% in love with my proofs (did not use Duet). Show them to some friends and family-- each person picks out pictures that they love and will make you see how good they came out. You have to realize for the most part you are not seeing all 800 of everyone's proofs here and if you pulled out 80 that you loved you would be impressed with yours as well. And if you are truly a negative person just think about how many people's proofs you saw online that you didn't like and be happy that yours are better than theirs.

I am so so with my prooffs too ( not duet) I am not sure how much is me & how is them. I had trouble with the thank you, I could find something wrong with them all.

They also dont' seem as artistic as I athough they would be ( we had a pj), but maybe it is hard to see a picture of yourself as artisitic.

DH& I also realize that only one of us makes a normal face a at time!
I was a little upset that there were some shots they didn't get, like the place card table, and us with both sets of parents ( I didn't realize it at them time), limo shots, & that no one told me my necklace was crooked! I also feel liek a lot of shots wer wasted on dumb poses like with one of us stnading way far behind the other. I didn't realize so many of those were taken.

I told DH out album will have mostly pictures of guests!

That sounds like what I went through also. (just replace photographer with Patken) There are still a few that I don't like. But on the whole I am very pleased with them and excited to get my album.

And good advise- forcus on the ones you like. As you go through them more, you'll realized there are more than you think.

This is exactly how i feel. I went through them again and I started to find that they were growing on me. I think that I'm overly critical of myself and that is NOT Duet's fault but my own. I also regret that I'm missing certain people, but again what do they know unless I tell them...again my fault.

Instead of buying a scanner I saved a KITTEN from a shelter (DH went to AC I went to the shelter!! So i apologize for the delay on posting the proofs, but I will take pictures of the crazy kitty!!
