My Turn to Ask for Prayers - Sad Update

My Aunt's Sister (my Uncle's SIL) is sick with cancer. This is her third time batteling it. We went to see her two weeks ago and she is so skinny but remained positive. Two days ago the doctors sent her home saying there was nothing more they can do for her. Its not if she will die, but when. She is already telling my Aunt her last wishes and she most likely she won't make it until Christmas. Please pray that she goes peacefully. That is all you can do for her, but I know she is extremely spiritual and it would mean so much to us all.

My mom was an only child and my dad has one brother so even though Lois wasn't related to me directly, she has been like an Aunt to me my whole life, at every family function. She has one son in his mid twenties and they are best friends, like my mom and I. Its really sad. I am just glad she made it to my wedding, I know it meant so much to her to be included as part of the family there.

I am so sorry....I had to watch my mom go through this last year and it is never easy and there are never the right words to say to ease the pain and anger. My prayers are with her and your whole family. I am so sorry!!!!

I've been thru this twice, with my mom and with my MIL. Just keep her comfortable and talk with her when she starts 'seeing' those who have passed before her. So, speaking from experience,
May your Aunt Lois have an easy passing.
