Need to vent....another infamous MIL story

Need to vent....another infamous MIL story

This woman needs to get a hint....we have not spoken to her since December and obviously not showing up for our wedding was the last straw.

So remember how she was sending my DH a 'bday present' and it was videos of him as a baby but she left a message saying how she wanted the tapes back anyway....well here is the kicker now. When the tapes arrived a few weeks ago, it was via fedex, DH did not want to open it so he asked that I just go to fedex and return it. So I went and told them I did not sign for it and I don't want it so please return to sender. Well evidently when you return to sender it charges the sender. So last night MIL leaves a NASTY message saying 'if i'm THOUGHTFUL enough to send a gift, don't charge me for the shipping when you return it'

I swear I hate this woman.....UMM HELLO YOU STUPID BIATCH, if you knew what the word THOUGHTFUL meant you would have shown up for your only son's wedding. And the best part is she is MAD at us for not forgiving her, she says we should have forgiven her months ago. I can't stand her and I'm just ready to lose it.

oh how perfect that it charged her for sending it back!! Love that couldnt ask for better. what a slap in her face (even tho you didnt know)
she really expected you to pay for the return anyway--it was a gift.

wasn't she planning on charging you anyway for the delivery? Or was it just for sending them back when you were done watching them?

The whole idea of this being a gift is absurd!! She should have just made copies of the videos and GAVE them to you guys to KEEP!! That's a gift!! Otherwise she's just an indian giver!!

Did she give a wedding gift? Or was her not showing up your gift????

I think the only thing you can do with people like this... is laugh it off. I know it's frustrating and annoying and makes you want to smack her because you can't stand her...but don't let it bring you guys down. Just take a step back and laugh at her level of stupidity!!

our wedding gift was defintiely her not showing up! we never got a gift, she tries to send stuff to the house all the time, like cards apologizing and DH has said that if she ever actually gives us a wedding gift we are not accepting it.

and yea for the the most part i try to laugh it off but sometimes its so hard....her telling us we are cold people is just so absurd.
