I think after all the monies we shelled out in planning we should not have to pay to share our knowledge or sit around and watch a bunch of brides win prizes

Brunch sounds very good. I know its all the way in Brooklyn but there are some great brunch places near me that have really good prix fixes. And the long island ladies could drive and park there too! Is Brooklyn too far for everyone?

Ron: We are just feelign a bit left out is all. Both being the NW group and being people who dont live in LI - we see to get the last look. But its understandable.

Stef, I would not mind that at all. I think the LI ladies could drive to the city and since its the day time, might not be so scared of the big city

Hm, I think Friday is better simply because we are already in the city and don't have to make any exra trips. ALso, it's a nice way to end the a working week!

In Jan. the city would be calmer and we most likely can get a room that is just for us...

Does anyone have any suggestions of NYC restaurants that would welcome a rowdy crew like us, is small or has a private room and will not ask for any money up front? Most of the restaurants I know that have a room to give want to guarantee a min $ spent.

(The only reason why i suggested Bklyn is b/c I know there are a lot of smaller restaurants that have brunches and we could just walk in with our big group and take over the restaurant. But im sure there must be some places like this in NYC right?)

I will go to Brooklyn too, but NYC on a Fri. night is preferred....simply out of convenience since I live in NJ...(I know, I'm lazy!)
