I have to finish up on Thursday.

I have to go to Toys R Us
Yankee Candle
Borders
Circuit City
and a couple more places...

I'm soooo behind. I wasn't able to do any shopping before the wedding, and I passed the mall on the way home tonight and it was packed, so didn't even bother.

We may hit the outlets on the way up to Binghamton on Saturday though... nothing like the last minute!

Jess, sorry to hear about your DH's kitty! We had a cat like that...was uber obedient, acted like a dog, etc. Those are the best and most loving.

DH had cats.

Now we have 2 Cats, & I Love them Soooo MUCH!!!

We always had cats growing up. But DH is alergic, so that kind of does that. As soon as we get a house, we are going to get a dog. We really like Portugese Water Dogs. Very family friendly and supposedly hypoallergenic, or so I have been told...

Gettysburg PA, actually. We live in VA so will be driving north on Rte 15 from here to Harrisburg and we jump on 81 around there to get up to Bingo. My hope is that we can leave here early enough to hit them right when they open. I can do strategic strike shopping when pushed, and it will prob be a day for it, since DH hates shopping, especially when there are hordes of people!

So what are the Holiday Plans???

We'll be in Bingo with DH's dad and family from Saturday until next Friday, and then we'll drive down to the Island to see my parents for their 40th anniversary!

Then we drive back here early on New Years Eve. We have our annual special dinner out and then our friends have a party every year. I can't wait.

How abt you?

we're gonna go to dh's parents for xmas eve and xmas, and we'll stay as long as i can be there w/o being in pain. dh may have to bring me home in the middle of the day for a bit so i can rest & hopefully go back there later ... good thing we only live 3 blocks away!

this pain thing is really getting to me ... its been 2 1/2 weeks of PT so far




for new years, we were hoping to go bowling with some friends ... one of the alleys has unlim bowling w/ open bar for $40 ... but it doesn't look like i'll be up for it

I have a Family Wedding this Sunday.
Christmas Eve we are off. Not sure what the plans are during the day.
At night we are going to go to DH's Aunt & Uncle's house.

Christmas Day DH is working.
I will be stopping by to see my Grandmother, Parents, Brother, Uncles.

Then I will be spending some time with DH up at work.

Then coming home.

I have work the next day.

I will be working for NYE so nothing Planned.

Sounds like soo much fun for you on NYE.

Jess, are you taking something for you Pain.

Esp. during therapy.

the doctor prescribed vicoprofen for me, it does help ... but only really as long as i rest

i'm supposed to do PT for at least 4 - 6 weeks, i have an appt with the doc again next week .... the PT is actually at his office, which is right near my house so its pretty convenient

i just want to be better, i want to enjoy newlywedded bliss like everyone else ....

(sorry for all the complaining tonight ladies!)

Maybe they can try something else for your pain.

I've had xrays and an mri -- its a bulging disk and a herniated disk in my neck ...

which causes referred pain in my neck, between my shoulder blades, at the bottom of my left shoulder blade, down my left arm into my elbow ... and numbness & tingling down the arm into my fingers


ETA: and i had it on my wedding day .... its AMAZING to me that the pics don't show how much pain i was in!

Have they tried Neurtonin???

ALot of my Patients find relieve from it.

The problem is all in your Neck. Cervical Vertebrae.

Have you tried accupuncture???
Just an alternative, since you are still in so much Pain.

I haven't tried Neurtonin yet ... maybe at my next visit to the doctor?

Before the wedding I was getting acupuncture ....and it definitely helped .... but i was going every other day, and it took a day and a half to feel relief from it ... so i had 1/2 a day every 2 days of relief
