Hi Newlyweds...

I have a interesting question

Who helped you get dress before the wedding?

Mom and I are being told that NO ONE SHOULD SEE THE BRIDE before she enters the church...

Sort, of like a mystery?

My bridesmaids and my day of coordinator helped.

How can no one see you? Someone has to do your hair and makeup - so those people see you. And then you take photos with your family and bridesmaids before the ceremony starts so those people see you. And then of course your photographer (and maybe videographer) is there the whole time too.

Although dont listen to me....i took photos with my husband before the ceremony and its one of the best decisions we made. But as you can tell, meaningless traditions dont weigh heavily in my decision making process

My mom was with me when I picked it out but all my BM's saw it when we went to get their dress.

My mom, MOH and grandmother helped me. But we took some family photos before the ceremony, so my dad, my brother, my sil, my MOH's husband...they all saw me. Plus the photogs, the limo driver, etc. AND we arrived at church early, so I sat in the car while everyone was going into the church and they ALL saw me!! :)

my mom and two sisters helped me! It wsa fun, we had our makeup done at the same time, so we drank mimosas, danced around and dressed ourselves!

I went to a wedding last year...and I was so shock how crazy the family was. The bride got dressed in a private sacred room. They made sure everyone who was in the bridal party met at the church. They made the bride leave last after everyone. She was locked up behind close doors with only about maybe 3 other people. THe only time you saw her was when, it was her initial time...to go down the aisle.

I don't know, to me it was a little stupid and over done, but I have heard that the bride preparing should not be disturbed. I guess everyone has there own idea...or tradition.
