But does anyone else not understand why Harry Potter is part of the ABC Family 25 days of Christmas??

This sends me into a spiral of confusion every year.

I saw the commerical and didn't understand. I guess because they have christmas scenes in it?

In the end its probably just to boost their ratings since HP is just a popular movie

It drives me crazy. The movies having nothing to do with Christmas except that some of the scenes include them breaking from Hogwarts for holiday break.

There's so many OTHER movies they could be showing that actually deal with the holidays.

Actually none of them have been released at Christmas-time.

The first two were released before thanksgiving.

Azkaban in June.

Goblet of fire before thanksgiving.

OOTP in July

half blood prince July

part 1 of deathly hallows - before thanksgiving

part 2 - in july

ABC FAMILY. C'MON!

they could have 'days of thanksgiving'

otherwise it would be called '25 days in the middle of thanksgiving and christmas'

I wondered the same thing. I mean, they frequently have Christmas scenes in the movies, but that doesn't seem like it should count.

Not to say I didn't still WATCH them.

yes im aware that thanksgiving is not part of the 25 days of christmas... but harry potter comes out around thanksgiving and is in theaters during christmas time...
