Re: ********NWQOTD 1/18 ***********
we only flirt when we're trying to kiss someone's butt .... like if we want customer service to actually resolve an issue for us
that's DH and my's deal that we made - flirting is only ok if you need something (wow that sounds awful ... i'm not talking about needing money or cars or anything lol)

Re: ********NWQOTD 1/18 ***********
hehehe...this is one of those double standards....its OK for me...but not DH.
I have a horrible thing for UPS men...and it doesn't help that we have a super hot one that comes to my office. So, I flirt with him a lot...but I tell DH about it. he doesn't care..he knows nothing will happen.

I think that sometimes even harmless flirting can lead to undesireable consequences .. my answer is no - I do not think its okay ... I do not do what I wouldnt want my husband doing.

Ditto- I think people should act the way they would if their partner were there. Would I flirt with someone in front of DH? No. So, I don't flirt if he's not there either.

ITA. I always think to myself, 'How would I feel if DH was acting a certain way?' I always try to act & treat DH with the same respect as I want him to treat me with.

Both of our personalities are very chatty and friendly so I suppose at times this can be misconstrued as 'flirty' but really, I have no interest in flirting flirting with anyone other than DH (I still have the biggggggest crush on him!) and I have all the confidence in the world that he's not out there macking. We don't have a 'no flirting policy' per se, but the general understanding is based on respect for each other. I wanna barf thinking of him 'flirting' with someone else.Welcome New Vendors
