I want everyone to think of their faaaaaaavorite in-law.

Now tell us what you're ACTUALLY getting them for the holidays and what, in your dreams, you'd love to hand over to them?

Like, the person I'm talking about is actually just getting a little clutchy bag thing -- but I'd love to give them a one way ticket to Russia. With no coat.

but my 'favvvvvvvvvorite il' would love to get the one way plane ticket too or a piece of tape to put over her mouth.

We're giving my 'FAVORITE' in-laws nothing...what I'd like to give them is a swift kick back to reality and out of the bubble they live in!!!! AKA DH's Grandparents and aunt and uncle!

before she goes I'd like to give her a piece of my mind....in an effort to set the record straight.

in all seriousness guys, i never thought i'd have such an odd and strained relationship with my mil. it is SO not my style. unfortunately, i usually keep things bottled up until its just DH and I and then I explode and we end up fighting over her. i can put a shyt-eating grin on in front of her but i can't seem to control my mouth in front of my husband.

I'd love to give my faaaaaaavvvvvorite in-law a well needed, well deserved, unlimited stay ... vacation to Bellevue... I'd have no problem hanging onto the key for that lock!

my 'fave' in law is my BIL ... he ain't gettin' nuthin! Last year, he called 2 days before Chanukah and told us that he doesn't want to exchange gifts anymore because it's silly ... of course, at that point, we already bought his gift .... needless to say, there's a reason he's my 'favorite'

i wish i could give him a book on etiquette or something

I actually get along with my ILs for the most part so I'd really love to be able to pay for a cruise for them somewhere! Unfortunately, this ain't happening.

We sent MILa Chili's GC (she loves that place..so weird because she claims to be a health nut )

I'd love to get her a muzzle and perhaps some botox shots for her vocal cords (hoping she wont be able to speak for a good couple of months!).

For FIL...Id like to get him a wife who is as awesome as he is.

I'm getting my 'favorite' in-law tickets to a show.

You know what I'd really love to give her though?
First: Ginko b/c her memory is shot

Second: Duct Tape for that MOUTH of hers because she chews soooo LOUD and SLURPS her coffee ARGGGGG

Third: new feet b/c her shuffling really annoys me

Ahhhhh MIL.... I would love to get her an Emily Post book on etiquette and a card that says 'Lose our number'

I have no idea what we're actually giving her. Probably a GC to a restaurant or maybe another camera since she gave the one we gave her last year to BIL

MIL and SIL aren't getting crap from us this year...and honestly I'm so sick of their crap that my real present to them is the same as I'm doing now...completely ignoring their existence.

Lucky me, my faaaaaavorite IL doesn't celebrate Christmas so I don't get her anything.

I'd like to open up a can of WHOOP @SS on her, but wouldn't that be more of a present for me?

Unfortunately I only have a FIL.....He doesnt like things being bought for him and doesnt want anything extravagant...soooo we are buying him waldbaums gift cards lol. its the only thing we know he will use and cant return lol

I have to say that I am lucky with the in-laws, mine are great! My sister is not so lucky and I feel bad for her.
