***NWQOTD 2.10.11***

Good Morning Ladies!!

Here is today's QOTD

What is the most 'stalker-ish' thing you have ever done? Or what is the worst thing you have done to try and catch someone doing something

First of all let me say MOST of these were done to the same cheating guy or to my mother when she was cheating

I have weaseled my way in to email, myspace accounts and facebook, driven past an ex's house at night to make sure he was where he said he was. Read text and looked at calls when they were sleeping and the worst I think was when I took the phone while they were sleeping looked through their phone bill and checked text number and phone calls to see what they deleted so embarrassing.

real stalker wise when I was young I thought that something was up with my neighbors I would do case files on them and peek in there windows and go in their backyard when I they left trying to find something they were hiding.

I am a creeper

Re: ***NWQOTD 2.10.11***

That's too funny! It sounds like fun.

Ya know, I never did any of that stuff. Never. I was always the one talking my friend down from the ledge, explaining to her why it's a bad idea to drive past his house, etc.

Re: ***NWQOTD 2.10.11***

This sounds awfully harsh, but I don't think I ever cared enough to stalk someone. I was usually the one on the sneak. My darn popularity!!!!

Re: ***NWQOTD 2.10.11***

I dont know if this counts as 'Stalking'...but to catch my ex boyfriend cheating I did some pretty stalkerish things. The less crazy were: breaking into his email and voicemail codes, accessing his phone records online, and checking his bank statements. The most pathetic thing I did was create a new AOL screen name and talk to the girl who I thought he was cheating on me with! I pretended to be a guy hitting on her and as the conversation progressed I told her I lived on the same neighborhood that my bf did...well then she told her 'hey, thats where my boyfriend lives too'..then i got her to tell me her bf's name...well wouldn't you know it...we had the same boyfriend

So, I dont know if that was stalking...but it totally worked. I caught him cheating on me with not only 1....but 3 different girls. oy vey!

Re: ***NWQOTD 2.10.11***

True Life: I used to be a stalker...

Once upon a time I dated a guy in high school. Things were good, then he went to college out of state and then things weren't good. Then I went away to college. We did the on and off thing for way longer than we ever should've. Probably 3 years after we first started dating, during one of our 'off' periods, he started seeing another another girl. I heard through grapevine (aka AIM, because that is what was up in 2003) that he was back in NY for the weekend with the girl...

So I did what any normal stalker would do - call his phone no less than 100 times, then when he didn't answer, proceed to get in my car (at midnight), turn on Kelly Clarkson, cry hysterically and drive around our town looking for him.

Once I found his car (at a mutual friend's house), I didn't know what to do... so I turned around and went home Lucky for me, his phone had died, hence the not answering, so he didn't actually see 100 missed calls from me and only later did I confess that I did a 'drive-by' that night.

That was by far the most stalker-ish thing I've ever done in my life. So embarrassing. Never again

Re: ***NWQOTD 2.10.11***

I was constantly suspicious of my Ex.. I would constantly try to see who his contacts were on his phone... I finally got a 'family plan' for our cell phones, so that I could just look up his calls on the bill... I could never get onto his email (though not for lack of trying)... but I would try to see his email when he was on it...
ended up I was right, and he was cheating...

I suspected my ex of cheating and got into his e-mail. Turns out, I was right.

Re: ***NWQOTD 2.10.11***

in middle school i would use my parents to help execute drivebys.

we'd go out to dinner and i'd ask my dad 'can you drive 10 streets out of the way so we can see if brad's home.'

etc.

Re: ***NWQOTD 2.10.11***

Definitely did the psycho-ex drive-by a bunch of times...did the 'I have a crush on you so I'll drive by your house with the windows down slowly on the off chance you're outside' drive-by...but that's pretty much it.
