so my friends and i are planning our annual Great Adventure trip and i'm super pumped for it and wanted to know:

What's your favorite ride, whether past or current? Does your DH like to go on rides and who will be the future parent that'll be holding the bags and toys and the kids go on the rides?

Right now, my ultimate favorite ride is El Torro at Great Adventure. I love wooden roller coasters and this one has a great first drop and is decently long. FH loves to go on rides so neither one of us will be sitting out when we eventually have kids and take them to the amusement park. I'm going to be the grandma that goes on roller coasters til i die!

I HATE rollercoasters. I literally cry before I go on one each and every single time lol.

I like the tea cups

Hubby LOVES the rides - anything big and scary, and is still working his charm to make me go w/ him. Not happening.

I used to LOVE going on rides. I have neurological issues now so unfortunately I cannot do a lot of the upside down super fast stuff. I still love rolling thunder, and the huge ferris wheel :)

DH no longer likes rides either, we tried batman and robin a few years ago and we both just felt sick when we got off....

So I will always be the one who just walks around an watches everybody's stuff, my sister an brother and their families will have to go with us to teach my future kids ho to ride the rides, I don't mind watching :)

I love rides!!! I scream then laugh my butt off...I crack myself up and normally those around me. I have no idea what the name of the ride was in Universal a few years back but it was one of those free fall ones but they thrust you up and then drop you down...no clue but I was laughing so hard people on the ground were staring up looking at me. I was crying from laughing so much. Embarassed the hell out of my friend too. But I loved it!

ETA the rest of the questions:

DH likes them too. We'll probably have to flip a coin or play rock/paper/scissor or alternate holding bags/holding kids.

I love roller coasters!! My fave at great adventure is the Nitro. So fun!

However, i think my favorite ride was the water slide thru the shark tank at Atlantis in bahamas. that and the ginormous lazy river that they have were so funnn

my BM is getting married next september and they are talking about going a jack and jill there

I haven't been on a roller coaster since Disney/Universal 4 years ago..... and BIL and I went on Dueling Dragons... awesome!!!!

but - back in the day at Great Adventure... I LOVED Lightening Loops!! It was my very 1st roller coaster, and I was scared to death of it... but once I did it - I loved it.

I hate roller coasters, too, but I hate them so much that you'll never catch me on one! I'm a big fan of log flumes and water slides. I actually prefer Dorney Park or Splish Splash to Great Adventure.

I dont really do rides - motion sickenss and nerves get the best of me. However, I do love water rides.

For some STRANGE reason I really love the Moust Trap ride at Hershey Park. DH is amazed by this since he LOOOVVVEEESS crazy rides and he really doesn't like that one LOL.

He has been itching to go to Cedar Point in Ohio for as long as Ive known him. I guess they have some of the biggest and best coasters in the US. I have NO interest in going LOL

Crashing!

This is so odd! I hate rides too (I prefer water rides, if anything) but I LOVE the Mouse Trap at Hershey! I dragged my friends on it and since I held their stuff all day they were like 'ok, let's go on this baby coaster for her.' They all hated me after and were all so scared! I loved it! They all talk about it 4 years later...there's actually the same ride in AC

I have never been to Great Adventure, I'm not a big ride person - but I have been to hershey a bunch of times I love the log floom.

i LOVE LOVE LOVE rides! My all time favorite ride is at universal, 'the Hulk' ride.
However at Great Adventure, I would have to say 'El Torro' for a wooden ride since its a different category from steel coasters and 'Kingda Ka' as my other favorite.

With that said, FH is a wuss when it comes to rides, but I do have to say this for him, he will go on them! I will drag him on and then once he does it, he LOVES it and wants to do it again!

In short, I don't think either one of us will be waiting on the sidelines with our kids because they will both be made to go on to over come their fears, lol. j/k - maybe

I am absolutly in love with Roller Coasters, if i could go on rides everyday of the week i would.

My favorite one would have to be Nitro and Kingda Ka at Great Adventure. I could go on them over and over again.

DH on the other hand used to love rides but for some reason cant stomach them any more. It makes me pretty sad since i love them so much, But i will just have to go with the girls from now on to get my coaster fix

My favorite ride was the Aerosmith coaster at MGM. I could ride that for hours and hours.

I absolutely love water rides! My favorite is in Islands of Adventure in Florida. IT is a water flume ride called Dudley Do-right's Rip Saw Falls.
So much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
