So my inspiration for today's QOTD came when I busted my @ss the other day. I didn't hurt myself badly but I cut both my knees up and got a huge bruise on one knee. It got me thinking, I haven't had a scraped knee since I was a kid. Soo....
What's the worst injury you ever had as a kid?
By some grace of God, I never really got seriously injured. I think the worst injury (or at least most painful) was when a friend and I decided to have a race to the end of my block and back. Well we got to the end of the block at about the same time and as we both turned to come back, she shoved me to the side with her shoulder and I got thrown into a rose bush. I had cuts and thorns ALL over. It was terrible!!

AHHHHHHHHHHH
A dog bit off DH's ear when he was younger he was in the newspaper and all.
These two stories are exactly why I am TERRIFIED of animals.

These two stories are exactly why I am TERRIFIED of animals.
You know, I always had dogs and I have had dogs since ... I LOVE dogs ... I was a stupid kid though and (unknowingly) provoked him ... and it was a dog that was well-known to me.
Accidents happen ... I didn't hold it against the family but made sure that whenever I went to that house the dog was locked up away from me!

I sprained my ankle running through a field in VT, thats it so far. Here's hoping thats the worst I ever have.

Luckily, I never injured myself too badly. I didn't play sports and wasn't very active, but I was clutzy, and one time walking down the hall to my room I stepped funny and landed on the side of my foot and the ankle twisted, and it was a really bad sprain that I couldn't walk for a few days. Then when I was in a car accident my knee was banged in to the door and they put me on crutches for a week, but it wasn't broken or hurt that badly, it was more just precautionary.

hmm nothing too seriious but i used to fall off my bike alot lol, my knees were always cut up!

oh man I am the clumsiest. each week it was something or other.
broke my left arm 1st time at 4 diving into a milk crate pretending to be a baby so a friend will be jealous we werent playing with her. 2nd time broke my left arm at 8 when jumping off a swing and broke my right foot at 9 jumping 10 steps
fell backwards on my elbows - hot bloody mess!
on my way to school fell down our front steps falling on my face. that was the time I bled from my nose so profusely I lost consciousness LOL my face was so scraped up I looked like freddy kruger
my friend was playing with a piece of plastic and didnt realize it had a huge metal prong in there which flew out and landed quarterer of an inch above my eye, leaving a huge scar. funny story: as I got hit I started screaming hysterically and ran home with my face all bloody, my friend ran after me and was even more scared than me. so my mom says to him laughingly 'what did u do? her face is banged up, who will marry her now?' my friend: 'dont worry aunt zina, I will marry her, I promise!' lmao! that happened 20 yrs ago and everyone still tease us about that

I was 7 and just got home from buying my communion dress with my mom-my twin brother wanted to race bikes around the block in opposite directions..
On the 2nd lap my bike jumped a curb and I literally fell forehead first on concrete.
My entire forehead was a giant open bruise. 1 week before communion.
We had to cut really thick bangs to cover it!

I got bit in the butt by a dog when I was about seven. I had to go to the hospital for it - so lots of doctors have seen my butt! That saying 'Always wear clean underwear' is very true!

ugh, my vag hurts just thinking about this.... when i was like 7 years old, I was playing on the monkey bars at the park. i lost my footing and fell right on to one of those skinny metal bars... right between my legs. I can still feel the pain!!!!!!!

i crashed into a rock jetty at 35mph on a jetski when i was 13. the entire jetski shattered, and i got a really bad concussion and my left hand was sort of left swinging off the side of my arm. NOT pretty!!
