Good afternoon ladies! Happy Thanksgiving Eve! Today's question has nothing to do with anything except partying. They say Thanksgiving Eve is the second biggest party night of the year next to NYE. Do you all go buckwild on Thanksgiving Eve? I never have! I always work, and just guess I never went out this night! I don't know! I feel like a lame asss but I didn't even know people went out on this night until like 4 years ago I started working with a girl who looked at me like I was crazy when I said I didn't know it was a big party night.
So what are your big plans for tonight? Are y'all down with the party?

we use to go out and party like wild animals, but that is slowly fading away. last year we went and saw a movie then went out for a little bit.
this year we are probally doing dinner and a movie, i have to get up early 2morrow for a 12 hour shift, so i need to be in bed early!
but im partying my little tooshie off this saturday, my friends are doing there 1st ever Freeze fest, they have a tiki bar in their back yard that is AWESOME when its warm out, and this year they are doing it FREEZE style ...that should be a blast!

I used to go out everyyyy Thanksgiving Eve, it was one of my favorite nights! But I finally outgrew that phase last year... when I was 29.
I have to work til 8 tonight and then I’m either going home to make cookies, or letting DH handle it before I get home and we’re going to go hang out at our friends’ house.

We used to do that back in the day (lol...makes me sound like Im 80)
but ever since we've been hosting Thanskgiving at our house I am always busy w/ super cleaning the house & trying to get all the desserts baked & prepping all appetizers for the big day - this way I am not trying to make & bake 50 things the day of!
I do miss going out though, maybe when I get a good job again I can hire someone 1 year to do the cleaning & prep the food for me while I go party my butt off!...hehe

That's funny because I remember back before I met DH, Thanksgiving NIGHT was the BIG party night. After everyone ate....and all the 'old people' went to bed we all went out and all the places opened up around 7pm so everywhere in the city was open.
I've never really heard of TG Eve being a party night but, especially now, DH's parents cook and eat really early so if we both woke up late we'd miss it. But we are going out tomorrow night.

Back in my college days and a few years after college we would go out on Thanksgiving Eve. We would always go to the city and get messed up and stay out until 6am and then get a few hours of sleep and be miserable on Thanksgiving.
But the older I get the less I like going out, especially on big party nights of the year.
So tonight I will be home painting my kitchen and hallway with DH and then baking brownies for tomorrow. My sister and another friend will most likely pop over and we'll hang out. Lame...I know! lololol

I used to go out every Thanksgiving Eve! That tradition has slowly faded. Tonight Im going out for Indian food with my sister and BIL. YUMMY!

We use to go out when I was home ...but that has changed since I moved to Orlando. It's funny because Thanksgiving Eve is like nothing down here... We are doing wine and dinner and probably be in bed by 10...boy have things changed!!

I've never gone out for Thanksgiving Eve. I wasn't a party girl at all. Me and my group of friends were and still are the appetizers at chili's and a small local bar type of girls. Tonight I'm wrapping christmas presents I'm almost done shopping and just about done wrapping everything I've already bought!

when i was in college i use to go out on thanksgiving eve, cuz i would be home from college and i would come to see all my HS friends! lol
now well not so much! lol no offense to all you young ins out there, but all the college kids are out and i always feel so old, seeing kids i graduated with little siblings hanging out at a bar! lol
well either way i gotta work tonight, possiblity i might stop at a bar for a drink after, but nothing like it use to be like

OMG!!!!!!! I have never heard of going out on Thanksgiving Eve..this is news to me...I am so used to helping my family prep for thanksgiving. I am also not a big party person either.

so i just asked DH if he wanted to go out tonight when i got home from work and hes like for what? im like cuz its thanksgiving eve ya know and hes like um do we have money to go out...and im like no...lol
so when i get home from work we are going to pop a bottle of champange and have our own little party just the two of us at home! lol

I stay home ever since I stayed out one Thankgiving eve til 5am and was not able to get up fro dinner cause I was too hung over.
