My doctors do Jess but I am in Suffolk. My old doctor in Plainview used to also -- Dr. Tydings.

Plainview isn't bad, did you like dr. tydings? Was it hard to get an appt?
He is a good doctor. His bed side manor is a little short but he knows what he is doing. I moved so I left there and it is a small practice so if you are looking long term I might look elsewhere -- if you need a good doctor now then I would recommend him. No getting an appointment was not hard. No sure of the Sono Tech hours though.

Dr. Raber in Lake Success does and she almost always does it as a part of my regular check-up (I have cysts)

oh my friend goes to one in nassau now that she says she LOVES and that she is great. I think its around garden city or new hyde park area, if you want i can ask

me too that's what I'm going for. Is she part of pro health? Is she hard to get an appt with? Last question, do you know if she's affiliated with North Shore hospital? Ok maybe one more question, do you have her contact info?

Are you definitely moving? I'm sad to leave my dr. too but the last time i was there I had to wait 3 hours. She's so good that she has so many patients, it takes 3 months to get a friggin appt. Plus she doesn't do sonograms in her office and if I have to spend another minute in nassau radiology I'm going to hurt someone

she's part of elite women's health care- its on 2500 marcus avenue. their phone number is 516-358-1200. i usually have to wait about 2 weeks- month for an appointment- but I am very particular about the time- I like to go before 9am- if I have a UTI, they usually get me in the same day as long as I call by noon just sometimes I have to see one of the other doctors in the practice, but I like them all except one. She is affiliated with LIJ- and I think they are together with North Shore, but they may be able to tell you when you call. let me know if you have any other questions
eta- this post reminded me to call and make my 6-month appointment & they said her next available appointment is january 9th at 9:15 in case you want to call for it

Dr. Raber is great, but I heard she is strickly GYN now, no more OB. It's not a concern for me

yes we are, we wanted to move by december but post-poned it now to doing it in january lol. We put our name on the waiting list for this place we want, his friends live in this community or whatever its called but they are town homes or more like cottages, all separated from eachother though and 2 floors. I like it and weve gone to theirs a couple of times and like the place so hopefully soon. They said recently they called ppl on the waiting list that they knew but they couldnt take it so seems like they have stuff available.
But yeah i dont know if i want another gyno. I used to change gyno's all the time until i found this one and been going to her for a while now. I am very comfortable with her and like her alot so i might even just continue going to her. Oh yeah i have same issue with her, office is always packed and you have to wait a long time

oh I didnt know that- do you go to someone else in the practice now because of that?
