Oct/Nov 12th Night brides - any sign of proofs? NONE FOR ME! =(

I'm starting to get really upset over this. My wedding was 136 DAYS AGO. That's 20 weeks. 4.5 months.... AND I STILL DON'T HAVE PHOTOS.

I loved them so much the day of my wedding - they were so great to have around. They had me laughing...they calmed my nerves, they dealt with my SISTER ( take my PICSHA) hahahhaha.....

I loved my e-pics too...that was fun.

They've been sweet enough to send me a few teaser pics, but nothing I'd use for a Thank You or anything...

Everyone that's used them says, 'Don't worry, it'll be worth the wait...' but the truth of it is that I paid a decent amount of money for a service/product that just hasn't delivered in a reasonable amount of time.... especially because my contract says proofs typically take 8-10 weeks.

I haven't even sent thank yous yet - I'm waiting for photos. People are starting to get testy! My Mom asks me about the proofs every week.

I don't want to call or email again and be 'THAT bride', but I really want them. I don't want a rushed product either...

Anyone else still waiting?

It's really ruining my whole great experience with them thus far.... I can honestly say that I wouldn't recommend them anymore! And I've sent them 5+ brides already.

You sold them to me! I would think yours should be an EXPRESS job for all the marketing you did for them!!

Mine were done within a month. Im sure being a March bride had something to do with that.. but it was MUCH faster than I thought it would be.

I got married on 11/11/07 and I have been THAT bride by calling them and kind of harrassing them because I too wanted my pictures and have been having EVERYONE in my family asking me where the pictures are. I know that they were backed up from the summer weddings since they took on soooo many weddings this summer as well as three of their people had weddings of their own so it pushed everything back. However, I'm getting really frustrated because I haven't heard anything and Friday it will be 5 months. I have recommended them also and I know that they do great work but I'm frustrated beyond belief. The only thing that they did do was create my thank you card for me so that I could send them out but that was because I was getting completely freaked out. The only drawback was that I didn't get to choose the pictures but Dom was really nice and worked with me and one of the pictures he picked for the thank you, I didn't think worked and he did change the picture and emailed me the proof back. So if you call and ask Dom, he will definitely do that for you. However, I'm calling again this week (I may have DH call since I hate being THAT bride again) because it is so annoying that I have yet to see anything and I'm dying over here. I was lucky that a lot of people at the wedding took great pictures but I wanna see the professional pics and I don't think it should take this long. You are not alone! :)

I know...I just keep having to remind myself of how amazing the pictures of other brides have come out and so I have no doubt that the pictures will be gorgeous as well as the DVD's. I'm gonna have DH call in a little while because like I said, I'm coming up on 5 months and I'm the second week in November so I'm hoping that my pictures should be done now! Its so frustrating since I have to hear EVERYONE asking me about the pictures everytime I see my inlaws as well as my own family...really frustrating!

Mine were edited too...even some were airbrushed..i got mine in less then 2 weeks

nicole, seriously call them or email them because i TOTALLY know where you are coming from!!! I didnt want to be THAT annoying bride that kept calling but after a while you become antsy and you want to see your pics!!! Theres NOTHING wrong with that- Im with you - you definately paid a good amount and by now you really should have them....

I would definitly call and tell them exactly how you feel! I would be furious...id be calling them every single day if it was me...seems like sometimes in order get service efficiently you have to be 'that bride.'

i am a 12th night bride as well. I knew that the pics would take a long time, so i am willing to wait. But I am not willing to wait for many months to send out thank you cards, so i called them to ask them to send me a few pics so i can start designing my thank yous (DHs cousin will do it). They sent me a few pics, but I am not happy with them, so i asked if i could make an appointment to come in and look through the pictures. They said that would be fine.

I don't care if they think I am 'that bride' b/c I am not, and I'm sure neither are you. I am not mean or nasty about it. When you speak to them, you don't need to be confrontational, but let them know what is on your mind. I have found them to be very responsive so far.

Who were your photographers?

My friend Tara got married in Nov 2007, and she still hasn't received her proofs yet (that I know of) , I just texted her to see if she has or not.

UPDATE!!!

I just spoke to my friend Tara, and she got the call a few days ago. She is picking up her proofs this Saturday morning!!! I think I might be going w. her, I can't wait to see the pics

FYI. She got married Nov. 4th, 2007

So I have an update...I called Dom tonight concerning my pictures and he had good news. He told me that Geraldine (my main photographer) was finished editing my pictures and were dropping them off to the studio tonight. Dominic said he was going to just look them over and make sure that the DVD's worked right and the music worked, etc and that he would call me in a day or two for us to pick up all of our pictures! I'm so excited! Dom was very apologetic about the delay and I know that they feel awful about not getting the pictures back to us as quickly as they wanted. So hopefully by the end of this week, I will FINALLY have professional pictures! And maybe even my video since I'm emailing them the baby, dating, and honeymoon pictures tonight and other than that, my video is complete.

So 12th Night girls, there is a light at the end of the tunnel! 12th Night brides in November and December, you should be getting your pictures soon! I'll post my professional pics once I have them.
