Wow, this is a great topic!! I am more of a hockey widow than a football widow but honestly, I really don't care. We all need our own interests separate from each other. I actually tried to like hockey - didn't happen. I will go to games and such with him sometimes.

I did all the TYs and holiday cards. DH was away on business so if I didn't do it, nobody would get a card!!

I am very back and forth on this issue. Sometimes I get very angry when I feel that I'm doing more than my share of the housework, especially b/c DH isn't home a lot. But then I wonder if its worth it.

. Gee, it isnt funny though. I can relate to you with the hockey thing. I tried to get into it and all, but no. I do like to watch when the rangers are in the playoffs.

Oh, I am a baseball widow, too!! But I can stand watching baseball. I feel I really put in the effort an can honestly say that watching hockey on TV is equal to watching the grass grow for me. In person, only slightly better!
