On a scale of 1-10, how happy are you with your proofs?

probably an 8. I love the shots that I do have but I feel like there are certain moments I wish were captured, that weren't. I wish I'd thought about it more ahead of time so I could have asked my photographer for certain shots, but I didn't and then I forgot about it that day. Oh well. Overall I'm happy though.

Of all my vendors, my photographer (Blue Daisy) was my favorite. I give her a 10.

My ONLY regret is that I wasn't more specific with my 'must take' list. I have no portraits of me by myself. There is ONE picture of my on the beach that is a candid but no actual portraits.

a 9.5.. i loved my photographer. they did an amazing job. the only thing that annoyed me was that we paid for dinner for our 2 photographers and one left before dinner...

I love my proofs, and my photographer took a TON of pictures ... but theres a few shots that i wish he took (like he took the centerpiece, but not the menus and the mints that I made, no pic in front of the watermill)

Hmmm I'd say 9, but that's me being nitpicky.

Reason being, I'm missing a few things- which is probably unfair to them. I don't feel like there is any emotion captured- well besides pure joy. We were both emotional during vows- I don't see any closeups. Brett was emotional during our first dance- I don't see that at all. I'm not wild about the first dance pics either but I'm sure it was tough for them to get a good shot as we're singing to each other the whole time! Also feel they could've done a better job capturing all the dancing that went on. Some of my friends captured that better with their own cameras. No biggie!

And considering how much friggin work we did on the details, we have one tiny little picture of placecards, and none of the entire table. I have a feeling that happened since we were rushed to take pics once we got to the hall, thanks to the biotch who got married before me and was late.

Not wild about the boat pics, which makes me sad. It's Brett's fault though- his posture was RIDICULOUS. I tower over him in those pics! He keeps telling me the boat ride was for us to relax, not worry about how we look for pics. O contraire!!

Otherwise, lots of the shots completely blow my mind and I'm very happy!

I would say 3 or 4... I hated the portraits of me and my DH, but the bridal party and reception pics were fun. BUT, that hatred of the portraits led me to a day after shoot with Blue Daisy. I will be posting these pics shortly. They are awesome and make me feel better about my huge mistake of a first photographer.

i posted already but i scanned my proofs today and i got so mad with them and i am now giving them a fianlly big fat ZERO!!!!!!!!!!!! they are so terrrible! i cant wait to do my day after shoot!!

Ahhhh, you remind me of myself. I went all out to get a day after shoot one year later. I feel soooo good about doing it. It relieved so much of my anxiety. It's a terrible feeling to know you chose the wrong wedding photographer.

I have been contemplating day after shot, with Angelica glass because thats who I originally wanted but she was not available, but do I spent the money after spending all the money for the wedding. There is so much other things that I want.

I hope the album turns out 1/2 as well as I hope it does! Then I'll stick with giving them a 10

Had I been an LIW addict prior to booking though, I would've probably ended up booking Something In Blue. Whacha gunna do!!!
