On average how long does it take...

For you to get your photo albums?

It's almost been 6 months and we haven't gotten ours yet, is that a long time?

did you already pick out your pictures for your albums? or do you mean how long does it take to get your proofs??

It took us about 2 months to get our proofs (december) and then I didn't get an appointment to make my album until May. they told me it would take about 7 months to get the digital layout that we make the corrections on and then about another month for binding. I figured it would take about 6 months to a year to get our album. if i had picked out pictures quicker and made an appointment sooner I would have probably already had it! but i didn't, so it will be a little over a year before we get our album.

so i dont' think 6 months is a long time.

Ok, now I don't feel so bad. I was starting to worry that our photographer dropped off the face of the earth (I also ordered prints from which, which arrived within a week, but we never got a bill even though I've emailed him twice about it).

We saw proofs online within 3 weeks and I'd say it took another week or so before we got hard copies of everything. I think I picked out which pictures I want for the album 2 or 3 months ago. I can't remember. So I guess that means I still have awhile to go before I should really get worried...
