Yeah don't feel bad, it too me over a year and I still haven't changed it with Social Security (b/c all my W2s and stuff was in my maiden name and my accountant said it would confuse them and to wait until after I filed my taxes.)

OMG I am the laziest! We were married Oct 2003 and I only changed it at SS but not DMV!!!
DMV is the worst and I hate the lines. I actually took off from work next week and was planning on taking care of it.

I did the DMV, SS and Bank the day after our civil ceremony.

Other stuff as I remember and it comes up. Credit cards and such. Still have a few with my Maiden name.

EVERYTHING related to my job stayed and will stay until after the 'wedding'. So mostly I answer Mrs. XXX but at the office still sign with my maiden name. It only gets confusing sometimes when I sign outside the office.

Thank GOD Jim's name is easy to sort of add on last minute. I realize as soon as I put my middle initial that I am forgetting to put his, so I correctly add it at the end.. so I sign LONG. hehe
