passport question

passport question

did anyone change their name on their passport yet? if so, how did you go about doing that?

i found info online and it says i need to send a 'certified copy' of my marriage certificate ... what makes a copy certified??

I just did this...I got a certified copy from the city hall and sent it in (express mail) with the paperwork....

Me too. I requested a certified copy and mailed it with the passport. Kinda nervous about doing that, but they say it's the only way...

I was nervous too....but I fed-ex'd it so I could track it and paid the extra $60 to have it rushed....I hope to get it back this week.....

I had to go in person b/c I left my passport in NY when we moved to CA...

you can send the marriage license that you were mailed...

remember...the passport agency does this with every application (birth certificates and marriage licenses)
