I heard about this on the view this morning and I have two theories
1) Paula is really that stupid and so full of drugs that she doesn't know what's going on around her and wrote down what she was going to say ahead of time b/c she anticipated something like this.
2) the voting is rigged and the show will kick ppl off as they please.
I don't really watch AI so it doesn't really bother me but I feel bad for the contestants b/c they're really trying and really talented.

I agree-its always seemed fishy to me after the first season with Kelly Clarkson because too many undederserving people have won- RubenRtudderCOUGHCOUGHFantasiaOUGHCOUGHTaylorHicks....
Yes America certainly has power but do they really have THAT much power? If they do its kinda scary and stupid because then the show is about popularity and just cheap entertainment always fun though) rather than what it claims to be- a gateway into the music world for deserving artists.
The guy thia year that Ryan was nasty to deserved to win, Daughtry did in the past, Jennifer Hdson now has a new movie deal and had the DreamGirls hit.... It works out in the end it seems but to go through all that HAS to be frustrating when you thought this was your chance.
If it is rigged its probably for ratings-misery loves company and all of that and then you CANT stop watching because you want to know WHICH undeserving emss will beat out your favorite.

they watch all the rehearsals....i'm assuming that she was bored by his performance and was anticipating telling him what she thought. kinda su cks 'cause what if he did better ya know??? lol she's an idiot. actually the more times i watche the clips, the more times she sounds like she's WASTED & doped up lol...

as for it being rigged...my friend jared was on it last year - he says it wasn't at all. I also was listening to blake lewis a few weeks ago, he said it's pretty legit, but at certain times they DO manipulate the voting if it means good ratings...he said last year that the numbers for sanjaya were SO low, but that they kept him on because the ratings were so high. so i guess that takes away from other people chances. but he said they kept him on for a few weeks, while the others that had consistent low numbers were booted(since they were pretty much gonna get booted anyway)..then when they/and the public couldn't take it anymore, they finally let him go.
as for Daughtry, i'm actually glad he didn't win. He was my absolute FAVORITE and i think that he's SO much better off not being under the american idol title. They would've given him songs to sing instead of him having 'his own' music... and he says the same thing. ..and i dont think that was rigged...because Katherine McPhee (as much as i didn't care for her) had a TON of fans...when it gets down to that point, anyone can go..
