i said 'other' although financial plays a part in it

so does wanting to spend time just us i guess

but the major reason is neither of us really feels 100% ready. and i know we never will feel it 100% (or maybe we will?) but we KNOW that we still want to sleep til noon on the weekends and stuff

I guess my real answer is a mix of all the others though
$, career (just started my career 7 months ago), spend time together, settle into a house

We want to enjoy the house that we just bought alone. We want to throw parties, have people in and out, etc. We're only 24 and 25, and most of our friends are still in the bar/party/go out all the time phase. We cannot see ourselves entirely giving that up yet.

Plus, if we added another person into the family, I don't think we would have quite enough money to support him or her as best as we should.

Other...I wouldn't say we're 'putting it off' as much as 'I generally don't like children and DH doesn't really want any'

All of the above!

But mostly we're selfish and like our lives as they are now. Also, between the wedding and moving in together in the past 6 months we've had enough change for right now.

Same here!!!! There is just so much I want to do before we throw a kid into the mix... we are always traveling and I want to do some stuff around the house...

I choose other.

DH and I are in no way ready to have a baby due to financial situations (we're doing pretty well as a couple but not for a baby to come), living situation (we rent a 1 bedroom apt. in RVC and will DEF not have enough room for a baby), emotional situations (I can only speak for myself but I am in NO WAY ready!), other (I would at least like to be on my way to take my licensing exam before having a baby).
