Perhaps a Few Prayers

Nothing too serious but after procrastinating for ten years, I finally had all of my wisdom teeth out today. I'm in a lot of pain with the bottom two because they were impacted so they had to break them from my jaw but the tops don't hurt too badly.

Either way, if you can spare a few prayers for a speedy recovery it would be uber nice of you.

ugghhh!! i did that two years ago... impacted, the whole 9! i feel for you girlie! btw, if it doesn't make you gag, putting a wet tea bag where the teeth were taking out really helps! it's got antiseptic qualities and helped with the disgusting taste and with any bleeding. my oral surgeon recommended that and it was a life saver! i hope you feel better soon!

What kind of tea! I'll try anything! I had them out around 4:30 this afternoon so they are bleeding like crazy!

you might look like a chipmunck for a while! well i did when i had mine taken out! lol takes a while to heal but it will be all good

I knew you'd make it through ok!!!!! Congrats on getting through the day -- it only gets easier from here.

Keep the ice on and off every hour! That will definitely help the swelling.

sorry, i didn't see this!!! any type of tea, i used a basic decaf tea (from lipton) you can also use any other type of tea...just avoid mint, etc. i really hope you feel better! it helped with bleeding, etc. BIG TIME!! i hope it works for you!!

Feel better! Sleep, take your pain peds, and eat lots of soft foods. Eggs, apple sauce, mashed potatos, etc. And nothing with straws until your stitches have more of a chance to heal. Good luck!
