how much vacation time do you get each year at work? I can't wait for my new bank of time come January 1st!!!!! b/c unlike last year when I take time off in 08 it will be for ME and not wedding planning! yayyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm hoping we'll go away in the end of January for my b-day, I need inspiration. Anyone planning to go away next year? do you think it's going to be your last vacay before baby making??

12 days of vacation baby!!! 4 personal days (3 of which are usually the Jewish Holidays)
We have two nights at the Caribe Hilton in Puerto Rico we got in a silent auction...Late march early april we are going there and a cruise attached.

I'm starting a new job on the 27th, but they're letting me take a paid vacation in late March! After the DH's honeymoon pneumonia, I cannot WAIT!
We're doing a Royal Caribbean cruise from NJ to Labadee, Haiti; Casa De Campo, Dominican Rep; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas & San Juan, Puerto Rico...I sooooo could use it!

We are going to Florida for 2 weeks in February. Then we might be going to North Carolina in July, but not sure about that yet.

unfortunately, my vaca time for next year is already planned out and not even for a vaca with my hubby!!
two of my BMs are getting married in May and both are having destination weddings! so, DH and I will be going to Cancun for one wedding, but we're only there for 3 days and are traveling on the 4th - so that's 2 vaca days gone.
then, my MOH is getting married in Disney two weeks after the Cancun wedding and I'm her MOH. unfortunately, DH's sister is graduating college the SAME DAY, so he's going to her graduation and I'm stuck taking 3 more vaca days and not even getting to vaca in Disney with DH! so, that's now 1 week of vaca time gone.
i'll get another week in june, but i'm saving it to go home for christmas next year. i haven't been to NY for christmas in 3 yrs and that's just too long.
so yeah, no real vacations for us next year. at least we get to go to cancun for a few days though, even if my entire family will be there too

We are planning two weeks in Aruba in August. Our friend's daughter is getting married there, so destination wedding it is.
Also planning a week in San Francisco in November.

Well w e staretd plannign for next June. We wantt o do a road trip lol corny but fun. We've been to the carribean but havent seen much of the US so thats our plan. We intend to fly out to Vegas and spend a day there and then go to the grand canyon. spend time there then get a vehicle to take us through texas, louisiana (to see new orleans) and end up in Nashville. Those are our major stops. Then we'll either fly out of nashville depending on time or continue driving home. We also plan to take a short trip to D.C. because I have never been there and want to go to the SMithsonian Museum and see our capital...Sue me lol. Im a patriotic nerd.

Jenn, this is something like what DH & I are looking to do next year. We hate to fly though so we're either going to drive or take train. If we take train, we're going to DISNEY-neither of us has ever been. If we drive, we'll still go to Disney but stop along the way.

I have 2 weeks vacation and 4 personal days. We are using 4 days in February to go to Vegas. I can't wait. This is our second vacation together so we decided to do it for Valentine's Day.

Planning any vacations?? More like dreaming of! LOL Just kidding.
So far the only vacation we have planned for 08' is Myrtle Beach Bike Week....5/13 - 5/17. I used to go to Bike week before DH and I were together, and now all my friends psyched him up and he wants to go to see what all the hype is about!! LOL Should be intereseting.
We are going to drive down w/ my BF and her hubby on Tuesday 5/13 and then DH and I will fly home on Saturday morning 5/17. We have to be home early b/c we have a wedding that night!! DH's cousin is getting married!! She is a LIW girlie too!! (Minibride08) YAY! So exciting!

Come 01/01/08 I get 10 vaca days. We are going to Las Vegas 2/10 for a few nights. For our 25th Birthday's I am so excitied.
We are also looking to go away in Oct for our One year anniversary.
We hope to get in at least three more trips in 2-3 yrs before we start making.

We came back from our HM a few weeks ago, and already cannot wait until the next vacation. Besides long weekends upstate, the next real vacation will be this spring to Europe. I am so looking forward to it!
