I can understand that....thats why I dont care either way.

I personally don't agree that there should be another board unless some of the other ones which are barely used are erased - there are a lot of underused boards here!
I am one of the people that gets annoyed with the amount of posts on NW from the Brides to be. But I am also someone, as many of us are, who still go on BHB.
I think there should be a post put at the top of BHB by LIW saying that if you have a question for a NW, then title it that - so they can answer. It should also say that posts asking questions by non-NW on the NW board will be deleted. I know that sounds harsh, but maybe it's the only way because the 'Purpose of this Board' message that you put at the top of NW is still be ignored by some BTB.

Triple ditto. Plus, I would think it would be difficult to control 100% where people decide to post. You can offer the option, but some people post on every board looking for answers.

I think a Newlyweds Helping Brides option would be lovely.
And I would gladly frequent it to answer questions.....
that way no one has to FM me and never thank me for my heartfelt response

Ditty Ditty Do -- C'mon, the Newlywed board does not have that much going on and certainly nothing exciting that others shouldn't read....so an 'interruption' now and then does not bother me int he least.

I think a new board would be helpful. I don't mind answering questions, but I dislike when the NW board gets flooded with questions from B2Bs, and the posts from the newlyweds get lost.

I go on BHB and answer questions where I can, but many newlyweds don't, because so many of the topics don't apply to us anymore. I think a new board would allow the NWs to more clearly see the questions that the B2Bs want answered while leaving the NW board just for us.

I don't see any reason to have another board. The Brides should post their questions on the B2B board. Many newlyweds still go over to that board and answer questions/offer advice.

IMO the same newlyweds that answer the questions on B2B will be the same newlyweds that answer the questions on a new board if created. It seems alittle redundant.

I agree. Although I do look on BHB, sometimes there are too many posts to look through to find the questions that are really for newlyweds.

I don't think we need a new board. I like that idea of having a shorthand for 'needing newlywed help' on the BHB board. It's already clear that they want advice from other brides, and so to flag those posts that want newlywed advice, too, would be helpful. I go on BHB and try to help where I can, but sometimes, it takes awhile to scroll through all the stuff I am not interested in.

I also agree - there are some underutilized boards that could be cut, and another one would just make it confusing. JMHO.

The questions on NW don't generally bother me but specific posters do.
The other board seemed like a great idea to me until I realized that those people who I find annoying, have and/or will become newlyweds and then just continue to be an annoyance with different kinds of questions or asinine replies. So there really is no avoiding them .

I would think that the same ?'s would be asked as on BHB's. I think we should have a board for pictures and vendor polls...cant think of how to 'theme it' ..but like the photo board we ALL WANT...That way we can have large phot only threads for things like Bok's, must have pics, hair pics, invites pics...I would have LOVED LOVED that when planning. And things like Whos your DJ, whos your Photographer.
The repeative posts we wsee on BHB's taht can be easily found.

I want to see that now even AFTER Im married.

I would rather go THERE to post pics, answer simple ?'s then read through a tons of threads to offer advice.
