Her brother is the Nassau officer that was severely injured by the drunk driver on the LIE this morning.

I just spoke with her - they are standing by at the hospital praying for hope. I told her we're all here to help if there's anything they need.

At this time, all she asks is that we please pray - they are counting on every ounce of prayer for her brother's life.

Her brother is a wonderful man - a wonderful Dad. His poor 6 yr old son...

Thank you everyone so much for the prayers...

Please keep them up b/c I think they are working - he squeezed my Mom's hand tonight and that's a very small optimistic step in the right direction. I'm sorry I can't post more - I can barely see straight after today and I'm going to go and try to get some rest right now but I wanted to read EVERYTHING first - and I have - I will answer FM's as soon as I can but thank you so much - it is SO comforting.
