Her brother is the Nassau officer that was severely injured by the drunk driver on the LIE this morning.

I just spoke with her - they are standing by at the hospital praying for hope. I told her we're all here to help if there's anything they need.

At this time, all she asks is that we please pray - they are counting on every ounce of prayer for her brother's life.

Her brother is a wonderful man - a wonderful Dad. His poor 6 yr old son...

That is horrible, as a sister of an officer this really hits home. These men go out there to do a job and there is no telling what may happen.
MrsDaniRella and family are definitley in my prayers.

Almighty God we pray to you, In Heaven up above,
Watch over our dear policeman, And protect them with Your love.
Please guide them as they keep us Safe, both Night and day,
And hold them firmly in your care, Should danger come their way.
Give them strength and courage, as they serve til duty's end.
And one more thing we ask dear Lord, Protect their Family and friends.
