Please wish us luck!! Update!! We made it through our 1st day!
DH and I are both smokers. Well today we went on the patch because we want to start a family. I did not want to find out I was pg and still smoking, so we both went on it. I can feel myself getting cranky already!!! Also it's rediculous how much it costs. We figured it up and last year we spent 5200 on cigarettes( IN ONE YEAR). Anyway, please wish us luck!!

you'll do fine! theres also some sort of inhaler you can use to ween yourself off.. Good luck! Best decision you'll ever have made!

Good luck!! Everytime you crave one...just think of what you want more....a baby or a cigarette! I never smoked so i can't relate but you can do it!!! (FIL quit after smoking for like 40 years....HTH!)

Good Luck!!!! DH and I are quitting too!!!!! I had an allergic reaction to the glue in the patch so my doctor put me on Chantax (sp?)

Good luck! This is the best thing you both could ever do for yourselves!!! With all the left over money book a trip. Start planning it now as more of an incentive to not buy a pack of cancer sticks.

Good luck. Don't ever look back, as hard as it is.
Remember, smoking for years is what landed my dad in emergency open heart surgery 3 weeks before my wedding.... Don't do that to your family! Had my dad quit during one of his earlier attempts (he did finally kick the habit 7 years ago, but he should have quit 35 years before that!), he wouldn't have had to go through that.
You're doing the right thing!

BUY THE TARGET BRAND PATCH!!! IT'S HALF THE PRICE
THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS IT'S NOT CLEAR LIKE NICODERM! BUT IT HAS THE SAME EXACT INGREDIENTS!!
You can do it!! I'm going on 6 months and I smoked a pack a day for the past 10 years!! And make sure you do the patch the way they say and for the amount of time they say.

Good luck I quit 5.5 years ago using lollypops. I smoked for around 9 years before I quit.
You can do it just stick to it and keep your eye on the prize. You will have more money and a healthy body for your future little ones to grow in.
