Poll: Thank you cards

Shoud we do normal cards, a long card with our vertical pic and the words 'Thank You' on the bottom (the length of a business envelope) or a card where the pic is printed on the front and it opens to a greeting?

That's tough - they are both beautiful!! What a great picture!

I would go with the second option (bottom picture). My thought is that, if I got that one, I would probably want to frame the pic and it would be easier to frame the second kind because I wouldn't have to cut it like the first one.

It's just my preference, but I don't really like the ones with the little wallet sized pic - they are too small and they get lost.

We are doing the 2nd option..but our names are not on the front. I like this b/c it was different and b/c you could actually put this in a frame.....

if you do the long card, would you write a personalized note with it as well?
i recieved one of those once, and the couple didn't bother with a personalized note, which i found to be in poor taste

I really like the greeting card with your picture on it. The long card with 'thank you' on the bottom, reminds me of those long Christmas cards parents send out with pictures of their children on them.

That's exactly what we did for our thank you card. Ours thank you cards are really photo greeting card. It's exactly like this. It's so simple, elegant and very modern. I don't really care for the ones with the window opening for a wallet as many people don't put couple wedding thank you photos in their wallet or carry with them everyday. Most people stuff them in their drawer nightstand.
