So it seems it's only my husband that thinks that couples need to be joined at the hip 24/7
When it's worth discussing, I'll strike a deal with of sorts.

I think separate vacations be a heathly rejuvenation for you! While we don't and wont do it all the time, girls trips are good for you every once and a while and him getting away with his boys is good too. I like Shamma's rule about not going anywhere where the other has not been! I also think it depends on your personality and how independant you are and were before you got married.

DH and I rarely go away without the other...but there is nothing wrong with it...
my sister has already suggested a mini vacation with our cousins...sans men...so its totally fine...
