Re: Pork Chops
i've become obsessed with just cooking meat on the stove top with a little oil, then a bunch of herbs and water.i did it with chicken, then with some thin-cut beef things dh bought (I don't usually cook red meat, i dont like touching it and i dont really eat it)
basically put a little EVOO in a frying pan, wait till its hot, place meat product and brown on each side, add ½ cup water, garlic powder, oregano, basil, parsley, italian seasoning, salt and pepper, (flip meat) cook until to your liking (I like mine extra-well done so i just cook it till its a shriveled up nothing) drain extra water.
its actually kinda simple, I usually make yellow rice or rice pilaf on the side (less 5 min from time), then add into the pan (with the water) and cook the remaining 5 minutes. And I add different beans and sometimes corn.

Re: Pork Chops
Just bake them. Season them to your liking. Add water or fat free soup to the baking pan and bake them at 350 for about 30-45 minutes

Re: Pork Chops
I love putting any type of meat in the Crock Pot in a heavy sauce for a few hours. Love, love, love it.

Re: Pork Chops
im making this tomorrowSlice 2 onions into rings and layer in bottom of crockpot.
Lay 4 1' boneless pork chops on top. ( I brown the meat first. imo it adds more flavor but its not a must)
Mix 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 cup water, 1 packet Liptons french onion mix, and 1 tsp worcestershire.
Pour liquid over pork chops.
Set on low for 6 hours.
Serve over egg noodles
