PWBS? I have been a little blue since my wedding.....I miss all the planning, the stress, lol, the fact that all my friends and family were in the same place for a day. I am not saying I am unhappy with DH, he is the best thing that has ever happened to me, but I can't deny I feel blue since I got back from the HM...mostly due to the reality that it's 'back to work' and 'life as usual'. I was looking forward to my wedding day for the last year...now that it's over I feel a little sad, but extremely grateful that I did have the most wonderful day of my life. I don't know, just wanted to reach out to everyone else and get some feedback.

I am starting to feel that way too. I was so sad knowing we were coming back to reality. The pictures are pushing my through but i know that will have to end eventually.

I feel the same way… there are some nights I get home from work and feel so bored, like I don’t know what to do with myself!
We just started looking for houses though, so that’s keeping me somewhat occupied. But I liked wedding planning more.

Yes I had that for a long time....I think it's normal bec for so long planning took up so much of our time for so long. Maybe I still do because I still post on BHB, lol. I can't wait for my sister to start her planning...she is engaged.

Me too! I cried the next day! Mostly because our whole night was spent saying hello to people that we didnt get to enjoy or see or even eat anything. So I think I'm just sad that I kinda missed my own wedding.

I feel the same way! I feel like I hardly saw or even spoke to DH the whole wedding day! I wish I could do it all over again and not leave his side the whole day! It was so hard bc each of our family and friends jsut kept on pulling us in different directions and I wanted to see my OOT friends and family since we dont see them all everyday.
I missed out on my dessert that I was soooo looking forward to bc of people who were leaving early and the waiter took it away

I actually thought i would have PWBS really bad and because I anticipated having it so much I think thats why I didnt really. I do miss the planning alot and Im bored alot (mostly because I have summers off) but Im not really depressed about everything being over like I thought I would be. Im looking forward to the future with DH and having babies and all that stuff!

I think its normal. The day after my wedding when I hung my dress and put DH's tux together I started to cry lol. It set it in that everything we planned and were so excited came and went in a blink of an eye.
BUT there are things to look forward to..owning a home, starting a family...

When it was all over and time to take off my dress, I got really sad since I knew that was the last time I would wear it... The days following... I was still on a high... nothing could make us unhappy etc... and then the honemoon was coming to an end... and thats when it hit... we wouldnt be the 'hm couple' that people say congrats to and cheer for... We were just going to be 'normal' again once we got back home... and I think that was the worst part....
People still ask me about it and I tell them I wish I could relive that day without all the planning.... just to do it all over again and be as happy as we were... priceless feeling

Re: Post Wedding Blues Syndrome?
I def. dont miss the planning or the stress!! Like 2 weeks before my wedding, people were just driving me nuts that I couldnt wait to get married so that I could relax!
I just wish I could relive the day.... it really is true that you spend so much time running around that you cant even enjoy your own wedding to the fullest!!! Everytime we tried to eat, we had to get up for something else.
At the end of the night I told DH to hurry up and un-lace me out of my dress! We were exhausted but still on cloud 9..... ahhhhhh I cant wait to see the video to feel like Im living in that moment again

I do miss it too and getting back to reality - well, really bites!!! The day we got back from our honeymoon, I didn't know what do with myself. DH feels it too, so we've been planning things to do - so we look forward to other things now.

I can definitely relate! I miss the planning sooo much! I just don't know what to do with myself Planning was 2 1/2 years of my life! I caught myself the other day in a store, I saw something and for a second I was like oooh for the wedding and then realized....Maybe I will quit my job and become a wedding planner!

I never really has psbs but definitely missed the planning. I can tell you 7 months later, I don't miss the wedding stuff at all. DH and I are really into the swing of life, and the wedding seems so far away now.
