So, do you harbor bad feelings still about ex-friends?
If you don't, how do you get past it? I just can't stop feeling angry over one particular ex-friend.
If you do, what are some things you think about? Hail on their wedding day, etc?

Oh YES YES YES!!!!!
I feel that this ex-friend 'dumped' me for nothing but total selfish reasons and of complete jealousy. I always wish rain on her birthday (I would her wedding day but no man in their right mind would marry that evil w e n c h), I actually see her in the grocery store and I've gone so far as to invision myself ramming my cart into her, but I've never done it. I think I still harbor these feelings because I know I did not do anything wrong.
And now this question has gotten me so cranked up I think I need a glass of wine!!!

I just try to focus on my life and not worry about them. Sure, it suckss for me if things are going right for them, but what can you do. I wouldnt wish it on them, but, yes, I would secretly be happy if it hailed on their wedding day.

Me too! I think I have to get a pedicure after work today b/c I'm so inwardly angry.
I've tried to make amends w/this girl like 8098098098 times. Honestly, we're not friends anymore b/c she asked me what I thought of a guy she was dating, and I told her how I felt. He was a jerk! He was much older, rude, and I had to change my phone number b/c he was always texting me sexually inappropriate things. She ended up breakign up w/him like a month after we stopped talking. I do NOT think I was wrong, but I've tried to apologize, smooth things over etc. Unfortunately her aunt is my office manager, so I have to hear things about her. Last week my manager told me she was asking about me, etc, so being dumb and nice and naive, I emailed her. Well that f*cker didn't even extend to me the courtesy of a response, and I know she read it b/c we both have aol. I'm so angry and hurt and mad and sad about it.
Therefore, a storm of snow and locusts for her July wedding, please.

Personally I think life is too short to waste energy on people who don't give a sh!t.
Heather, I think the fact that she didn't respond to your email is pretty good justification as to why this person isn't in your life anymore, and you're probably better off with this person not in your life.

My point exactly woman! Not only that though. You seem really nice. Trying to get back in touch with her after everything. I would have cut her out completely after the first incident. She doesnt deserve you in her life.

I dont know why, but I just can't seem to let this one rest. I've had other past friends that I either had a fight with or just stopped talking to, and I don't really give 2 sh*ts... but I'm so angry over this girl. And hurt that she obviously doesn't even care. Maybe I should just egg her house. I think thats the mature way to go about this.

You should switch to constipation. This way, she's uncomfortable AND looks bloated.

I'm no Dr. Phil here, but it seems like you may be more pizzed that you extended yourself yet again and got nothing in return! I say screw her, forget her, don't email her or give her the time of day.-or an umbrella when it rains poisonous slimy frogs on her wedding day.

Not really. I don't have hard feeling towards any ex-friends. I just think we grew apart, and that is why we are not friends anymore. No drama went down.

Exactly. I think I'm being nice & mature by trying to bury the hatchet, and then I feel like a fool for even extending myself.

su cks. But what I have learned is that you cannot get involved in relationships. Sure the guy is a scum bag, and surprisingly she dumped him, but on most occasion she dumps the girlfriend for being truthful and stays with the guy. Some friends aren't really friends.
might she still be with him? That is the only explanation that I can think of for her not to talk to you. maybe she doesn't want to feel like an @ss.

Have you told her that what she has done to you has made you so angry? I mean screw apologizing. Tell her she's being selfish!

No she's marrying someone else in 3 months, so I doubt she's still with the other guy.

So, do you harbor bad feelings still about ex-friends?
If you don't, how do you get past it?
oh gosh - i don't even know. I had a lifelong friend starting all the way back in 2nd grade. Out of nowhere on the week of my wedding she just became horrible. I still don't know why. I tried to resolve things, but she's just awful. I don't know.
I'll be honest - it hurts! Somebody like her shouldn't be worth my time, but we have such a history together, it's kind of sad to just not be friends anymore. I think I deal with it by just ignoring it. I live my life without her and am completely FINE. I barely ever even think about her - until something comes up. Like I see old photos of us, or my old yearbook. Or something funny happens that I know she would have loved and then i have to remind myself that I can't just call her up to tell her about it.
It's hard to get over losing a friend if they meant that much to you. I still care about her so much - but things can't be the same unless she fixes things. I did all I could do, it's now up to her. I think that's the only reason I CAN move on - because i know that I didn't just give up. I did all I could do. So the fact that our friendship ended is not in my hands at all.
