Q of the D

my name is ok, i just hate the fact that it ALWAYS gets spelled wrong,

last year my nana spelled it wrong on my birthday card LOL

oh and it doesn't help that my middle name is elizabeth so people are constantly attaching the 'e' to make it Kristie

and the fact that i've had several people tell me that kristi wasn't a real name and my name was really kristina

Who the hell spells Michele like that? Isn't that like a guys name then?

Michelle is always with 2 L's, I have never seen anyone ever spell it differently. That's crazy lol

I've seen it with one L. It's also the way to spell Michael in Italian.

I usually default to two Ls unless I know the person doesn't spell it that way though.

i have two people in my life who spell it with 2 L's, and they so annoyed when it's spelled with only one L.

I've seen it with one L. It's also the way to spell Michael in Italian.

My MOH gets that all the time. They insist that Kristy is short for Kristine, and they want to spell it Kristie.

Well, my dad originally wanted to name me Lisa, but I'm glad they didn't because i LOVE my name so much. It's got a cool meaning to it, and it's also pretty unique. There was never another Cassandra in ANY of my classes growing up. Plus it isn't too awkwardly out of the ordinary either

I've gone through phases hating it and liking it. I am sort of just use to it. My parent's didn't agree on a lot of names and my Dad wanted me to be named Kate and my mom wanted Marissa, so I came out
Melissa Kate (go figure).
DH and I talk about baby names all the time since we plan tc soon and we never ever agree...its hard to choose a name.

I like my name. I like that its spelled with only 1 's' even though EVERYONE spells it wrong (which is why most of you girls have learned by now that I'll bust your chops if you spell it wrong )

I also apparently don't say it clearly b/c ALL the time at work when I talk to someone and say my name, they go, 'Ok, Martha' or 'Marcia' or 'Melissa'. I think from now on I am just going to say 'Hi, my name is M-A-R-I-S-A.' Maybe then it'll be understood

I love my name, Kathryn and the spelling of it

My nicknames are Kathy or Kat.

My middle name is my grandmothers name and I love it also Celia.

I love my name too. DH told me when he first met me he didnt like my name he said its an old lady name! but now he likes it

although I really dont like being called Kathy OR kat

my family calls me Katie and my friends either Kathryn or KK. i just hate it when people spell my name Catherine.

DH loves calling me Kathryn, he prefers that to Kathy or Kat I respond to all three..

I also hate it when they spell my name Catherine I always spell out my name.

Technically our name is two syllables..not three like Katherine/Catherine.

LOL sowwie! Don't feel bad, a bunch of my fave NWs got called out for it, you def werent the only one! I guess b/c everyone does it to me, I am SO sensitive about spelling other's names the right way. I must've triple checked myself the first few times I called you Sara, to make sure there was no 'h' at the end of your name!

My name is Elizabeth. As a kid I wanted a cooler name like Alyssa or Samantha.

I love my name now though. It is versatile...Elizabeth Professionally and to family, Liz to friends, Lizzie to DH and friends/family affectionately..

Mine is Jennifer, I go by Jenna. I like it but yes there were alot of Jennifers growing up but I am glad I was different with my nickname Jenna. It has since been shortened to Jenn by many close friends and family.

Growing up I loved the name Amy and wanted to change my name! HAhah LOL!

Also I was almost named Natalie

I have a love/hate relationship with my name, MARISOL.

-I was named after my aunt, Marisol. (Love)
-At age 23, my mom bought me an American Girl doll because her name was Marisol, she was girl of the year and it was one of the best gifts I have ever received! I would always get sad when my sister would find cute things with her name on it and I couldn't! (Love/Hate)
-I hate when people ask me where I from when I say my name or they read it on my name tag at work! It always turns into a long explanation and then they expect me to speak to them in spanish! (Hate)
