So, 2009 you, a newly married lady, gets to go in a time machine and go back 2 (or 3, or whatever) years and give newly engaged you ONE piece of wedding-related advice. What is it?

Ditto for that.
Also plan more time for pictures between the church and reception.

Take your time and do lots of research before you book your vendors.

Enjoy every minute of the planning and wedding day - it goes by super fast!!! Take a minute to just soak it all in.

Re: Q of the D II
I would tell myself to go to many stores and try on many dresses in different styles. In the end, I really was never in LOVE with my dress.
Also, I would warn myself about the issues that my MOH and FSIL would have in planning my shower and I'd try and do something to change it. I'd probably end up requesting either 2 totally separate showers, or none at all!

Re: Q of the D II
Try on more dresses not by what people loved on me and I felt looked nice, but wait until I got 'the feeling'
Get the photographer I wanted no matter the cost or who would get offended.

Same here- and i would add 'dont listen to your mother- she doesnt have good taste in dresses' My mom ended up talking me out of the dress that i wish i would have gotten.
