What personality qualities did you get from each of your parents?

Mom: thoughtfulness, caring

Dad: strong, stubborn, and learned the lesson of hard work

mom: love compassion, unable to lie and smile

dad: hard working, talk a lot, cant spell and eyes

both: stubborn and always right

dad: his patience, and with my DH i need it!

mom: i really don't know. any good qualities i can remember, i certainly don't have (very outgoing, quick witted).

ETA: i know i don't have any of my mom's bad qualities either, thank goodness

Mom: Love, compassion and when to get rid of the poisonous people in my life, having to always be right

Dad: Being social, sense of direction and thickheadness

I'm well rounded

Mom : loving, sense of humor, truthful.

(I didn't grow up with my dad) so my uncle was in the picture a lot: I learned from him that when you do a job, you do it right the first time. Don't put off tomorrow , what can be done today. He is a contractor, so I used to do alot of jobs with him and build houses. It really did help me build character and learn how to work hard.

I got bad qualities too but I'm trying to be positive

Mom- outgoing, loud, honest, fun..and a little nutty

Dad- hmmm....I think my ability to reason (although Im more of a hot head than my dad lol), diplomatic,

Both my parents are very open and accepting and I think I am that way also

Mom: Loving, compassionate, quick to anger

Dad: Sarcasim, sense of humor, impatient

mom- bad things- hard-headedness, quick fuse
good things- my morals, sense of humor

dad- bad things- his irish temper
good things- his business sense, ability to
mediate any situation and thoughtfulness

Mom: stubborness, love for animals and love for cooking
Dad: work ethic, love for reading and writing, respect for certain traditions, certain values like health comes first/ work before play, etc!

I inherited bad qualities too though...like disorganization from my mother; willfulness from my father
