MY DH and I have agreed to have only one child. When we tell family and friends this (especially the ones that didn't have siblings), they say that being a only child is so lonely. My SIL recently asked this question that had me thinking, she asked me to imagine my life without my brothers. Truthfully, I couldn't.

What are your feeling/opinion on this topic?

Just something cute about having a sister close in age (that I always tell people that are wishing for the opposite sex for baby#2 andhave 2 of the same) I know both brothers and sisters that have had many a night, staying up VERRRY LATE (10pm?LOL) just chit chatting in your beds. (sharing a room can be a whole other thread!) Those moments were priceless. (among many many more!)
Having siblings, you still have friends. you still also have cousins. But it in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM can be equal to the bond of a sibling. EVER.
