QOTD for Friday Aug 22

OK here goes...

WHen you DH gets sick does he act like a 5year old or is he really good about it...

Mine has a sinus infection that won't go away and now he has pink eye and thought that when he put in eye drops you had to rub it in with a tissue!!!! he refuses to oput the drops in.. I am ready to scream!!!!!!

Ok now i feel better now that I vented!!!

My husband rarely gets sick. When he does, he just wants to be left alone.

Im the one who acts like a baby and demands to be pampered :D

When hes sick..omg..he drives me up a wall!!!!!! But its not that he complains a lot, its just that he wont take anything to make him better!

Like yesterday he had a bad backache....I gave him a massage and he took a hot shower and all I heard all day long was sounds like...

owww..oh god..****...grrrr...ahhh...omg...

All he did was moan and groan! I couldnt take it anymore and told him for god sakes take something already!!!!!!!! I felt bad afterwards but he was driving me wacko!!!!!!!

When Patrick is sick, he refuses to admit it, and goes about his day even though it's obvious he's suffering.

Oh yeah - when he's sick, he immediately reverts to a 5 yr old.
What kills me is that when I'm sick, I still end up doing my share around the house - hey, where's my pampering?!

OMG!!! When my DH is sick he needs constant handholding!

But on the other hand, when I am sick he is totally 100% there for me!! I was never so spoiled before - he is such a good caregiver! (Makes me want to be 'sick' more often!)

I totally go for the pampering when I'm sick, and Al's great about it. I pamper him when he's sick too, but not because he needs or demands it (like I do

I'm in the same boat as Lisa and Stef...DH rarely gets sick...and just s*cks it up when he does...

Same as Teri, I don't get a break from cleaning but if Gary is sick, it is like I am sick Stace!!! Hey now! He doesn't get sick that often and I don't either really though.

mine is a trooper! he basically conks out after minimal moans...lots of kicking and thrashing and then silence. When we are sick one of us sleeps 'in the bag' - which means 'on the floor wrapped in a comforter' to avoid the other's babieness!

I lay there and moan 'chicken soup with orzo!!!'

In 12 years I don't remember Kevin ever being sick really. A pulled tooth, some achey muscles and sometimes bad bellyache when he takes advil (like last night!) I get stressed and try to help him and he basically prefers to be left alone- although he will moan occaisionally just so I don't forget about him!

Mine does well, but he acts cute to get attention. For the most part he'll try to take care of himself.

My FI is like Stef's...he's very stubborn when he is sick & wants to be left alone...I'm totally the opposite and want attention & to be pampered.

It depends on the ailment. He gets stomacheaches a lot (due to many food allergies) and he's pretty good about it. But when he gets a cold, which I think happened twice in the last 3 1/2 years, he's like a baby!!! He start sniffling one morning and took the whole day off of work. Just for the sniffles! He had no other symptoms but the sniffles.
