Queens County Farm Museum
I haven't been there since I was a wee little one, but we're taking Kayla and Hailey again for the weekend and we're looking for low cost options for the kids.Queens County Farm Museum is apparently free! This is the place where you get to pet/feed all the animals and milk the cow and everything, right? Am I wrong? Has anyone been there recently? Would this be fun for kids?
We were also thinking:
-Plaster Fun Time (On Metro)
-FunTime USA (In the MetroMall)
-Hall of Science
We don't want to do the movies since it's going to be so nice this weekend. We've done the Central Park Zoo, the Aquarium, many different parks, Dorney Park, Splish Splash, and many other things, so we're running out of fun, cheap stuff to do!
I'm very open to other suggestions!
In fact- does anyone know a good place in Queens/Nassu for mini-golf/go-karts kinda thing?

Queens County Farm is great! My friends actually had their wedding there.I'm not sure if you can milk the cow but I know they have a lot of animals - chickens, lambs, goats, etc. On some weekends they have fairs and stuff going on there and then there's even more to do.

I live close to the Queens Farm Museum, and it is free and would be a great place to take the kids. My husband and I have been buying vegetables, wine from the vineyard, maple syrup and eggs there. (Those aren't free ;)). Fresh and delicious.

My friend was supposed to get married there this past May but they called off the wedding!
But it would be SUCH an amazing place for a wedding! Thanks ladies for all the responses!!! We've been taking these girls like every other weekend so even if we don't get to hit up Queens County Farm and the other places like mini golf (B/C DH wants to go to the Bronx Zoo again
), it's good to have some ideas on reserve! Thanks again!! Welcome New Vendors
